Pause. Attunement.9.2.26#34
Life has a way of getting us a little out of tune. We get busy. We get distracted. We compare ourselves to others and forget the instrument we are. We don’t have to fix ourselves. We might just need a little tune-up.
Pause from This Purple Chair
A gentle nudge to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself.
Life has a way of getting us a little out of tune. We get busy. We get distracted. We compare ourselves to others and forget the instrument we are. We don’t have to fix ourselves. We might just need a little tune-up.
Get ready for perhaps the most authentic and unedited audio yet! If you are new to this Weekly Pause, I am committed to record a message for your travels, and I do not edit it. I believe life is uneditable. So get ready.
It’s been quite a week—and I found myself a little verhudelt… all tangled up, turned around, and pulled in too many directions. And then I remembered: Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is detach.
Today I was thinking about and pondering about making a decision. And I wanted it to be the right one! And then I paused and below are some of the thoughts… my ponderings from This Purple Chair to Yours.
Did you ever wonder why I love the phrase “fellow traveler?” There are a lot of reasons and I’m sure you can come up with some ideas. My main reason is that we are all human. And that connects us.
I smile as I push send to you. And I thank you for traveling with me. I don’t edit the audio portion of this pause. So you might hear a car going by or a dog barking etc. I do this to remind myself that life is not editable.
