Good day, my fellow traveler!

Did you ever wonder why I love the phrase “fellow traveler?”

There are a lot of reasons and I’m sure you can come up with some ideas.

My main reason is that we are all human. And that connects us. So when I look at that person that might be annoying me… They are a fellow traveler. They are human. And they have many many stories and have walked many many steps that I know nothing of.

So when I encounter a fellow traveler, and I have a reaction and a judgment that I think are so true because I have evidence!

I stop and I pause…

Or at least I try to stop and pause…

And remember, there’s a lot more going on in this situation that I know nothing of. And I try to look through the fear or the anger or the frustration that might be coming out to their deepest depths… And remember, they are fellow travelers… Human earth-suits that hold their essence with in, just like me.

Usually, looking at folks that way helps; helps me offer mercy and grace rather than judgment and condemnation. Helps me offer peace and calm rather than upheaval and chaos. And looking at life, that way, I have found grows and nourishes that peace deep within me. Ahhh…

So listen today to the audio if you get a chance. Or maybe listen to it another day.

In any event, take a pause and a breath and come to this time in your purple chair, your place of peace….just as you are;
